His Excellency, Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar presented the National Energy Conservation Awards 2024 and the National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation prizes in New Delhi in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of State of Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Govt of India and other senior dignitaries of MoP. Sri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, Maj Gen R.K. Jha, AVSM** (Rtd), Director (P) and other Senior officials from NEEPCO attended the event.
The National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation is organized by Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the aegis of Ministry of Power, Govt of India. NEEPCO is the nodal agency for conducting State level competitions in four states, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland & Mizoram. Approximately 70 lakhs students participated in the Competition all over the Country. Shri Ritesh Guha Roy, from Tripura won the 1st prize in Group B.
Sri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, along with Maj Gen R.K. Jha, AVSM** (Rtd), Director (P) congratulated the winners and the all the participants who represented the four states. On 13th December a Felicitation Ceremony was held at Delhi, Director (P) felicitated all the participants and the nodal officers who has made this event a great success.
