As part of its steadfast commitment to community development, Girl Empower Mission (GEM) 2025, a flagship initiative under its Corporate Social Responsibility - Community Development (CSR-CD) Scheme was formally inaugurated on 14th July 2025 by the HoP at AGBPS, Bokuloni. 60 schoolgirls from neighbouring schools around the Plant have been selected to participate in the programme, marking another milestone in NEEPCO’s journey towards empowering young minds and nurturing future leaders.
Over the course of 15 days, participants will engage in a dynamic and enriching learning journey designed to build confidence, creativity, and competence. Key components of the programme include:
Yoga Sessions – Encouraging physical fitness and mental well-being
Art & Craft Workshops – Inspiring creativity and self-expression
Skill-Enrichment Modules – Covering Science, Mathematics, and Spoken English
Certified Computer Training Program – Promoting digital literacy and confidence in technology
Surprise Fun Events--Adding joy, excitement, and unforgettable memories. GEM is a reflection of NEEPCO’s vision to nurture potential, promote equality, and build brighter futures for the youth in its operational areas. Through initiatives like GEM, NEEPCO reaffirms its role not just as a power generator, but as a catalyst for positive social change.
