Introduction

Introduction

Pare Hydro Power Station is a run-of-the river scheme to harness the hydro power of Dikrong River (a tributary of river Brahmaputra) and located at Sopo, Papum Pare District, Arunachal Pradesh. The Station also utilizes the Tail race discharge of the 405 MW Ranganadi Hydro Power Station. The installed capacity of the Plant is 110 MW with a catchment area of 824 Sq. Km and design head of 67.36m.

Achievements

Achievement

The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India dedicated the 110 MW Pare HEP to the Nation on 9th February 2019.

Pare Hydro Power Station (PLHPS) achieved annual generation exceeding the design energy (506.42) during FY 2020-21 and FY 2022-23 recording  generation of 522.29 MU and 531.843 MU respectively.
