Tuirial Hydro Power Station is medium head storage scheme to harness the hydro power of Tuirial River and located at Saipum, Kolasib District of Mizoram. The installed capacity of the Station is 60 MW with a catchment area of 1861 Sq. Km and design head of 53 m.

The Project was dedicated to the Nation by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 16th December 2017.
Tuirial HPS achieved annual generation exceeding the design energy (250.63 MU) with a machine availability of 99.30% for FY 2025-26 recording generation of 256.3355 MU as on 31.01.2026.
