NEEPCO, a Miniratna Govt. of India Enterprise under Ministry of Power paid an interim dividend of Rs. 22.59 crores for the year 2015-16. The cheque was handed over to the Hon'ble Minister of State (independent charge) for Power, Coal and N&RE on 18.03.2016 at New Delhi by Shri P.C. Pankaj, CMD, NEEPCO alongwith all the functional directors. Economic Advisor from Ministry of Power was also present on the occasion

Hon’ble Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation Shri D.V. Sadananda Gowda had visited AGTCCPP, NEEPCO on 14th Sept 2017. The Hon’ble Minister had visited the power plant, had a brief interaction with the NEEPCO officials headed by the Director (Tech), NEEPCO Shri V K Singh. While addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Minister highlighted the role of NEEPCO for implementation of various visions of Government for benefit of the common people of our Nation including power project development.

  • Draft DPR for an installed capacity of 75 MW was submitted to CEA for scrutiny by CEA.
  • As observed by CEA, the DPR is under revision for an installed capacity of 85 MW.
  • Comprehensive environmental studies are in process.
