Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd.) Director (Personnel), NEEPCO and Smti Anupama Jha on 13/12/2023 at New Delhi, interacted with the children from the states of Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura and Nagaland who are competing for the National Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation - 2023, organised by the Ministry of Power under the National Awareness Campaign. 

NEEPCO has been the nodal agency for conducting the State Level Competition in these four states. Ministry of Power, Government of India NTPC Limited CMO Meghalaya CMO Tripura.

Glimpses of the Opening Ceremony of NEEPCO Inter Project Badminton Tournament held on 11.12.2023 at JN Stadium, Polo Grounds, Shillong. The tournament which will go on till 14th Dec, 2023, witnessed the participation from our NEEPCO Locations such as AgGBPS, TGBPS, KHPS, KaHPS, PLHPS, THPS, PHPS and Corporate Office, Shillong.

Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd), Director (Personnel) met Lt Gen H S Sahi, General Officer Commanding 3 Corps and Maj Gen Dinesh Hooda, Chief of Staff 4 Corps at Dimapur on 03 Dec,23. Discussed Strategic aspects of NEEPCO in the North East, specifically Arunachal Pradesh. Also explored the feasibility of Dual use of upcoming NEEPCO projects in Tato (Shi Yomi district), Arunachal Pradesh. It is noted that Collaboration with Indian Army and Border Roads organisation would be mutually beneficial.

Central Electricity Authority (CEA) has a crucial role to play in the country's power sector development. 

Major General R.K. Jha, AVSM (Retd.) met CEA's Chairperson Shri Ghanshyam Prasad at CEA on 29.11.23and engaged in an insightful and professionally rewarding interaction with him. Discussed growth trajectory of NEEPCO, Business Development, induction of new technology, Capability Development, Leadership Training, Succession Planning, Project Management and Visit to other Hydro Power Projects for awareness enhancement. 

Major General R.K. Jha, AVSM (Retd.) Director (Personnel), NEEPCO visited National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Faridabad on 28.11.2023.

Discussion was held with Dr. Tripta Thakur, DG, NPTI and her associates, which helped gain varied exposure and also acclimatized on various training modules and programs that NPTI undertakes. This insightful visit helped to understand the objective and subjective application of continuous training processes for the employees. 

Glimpses of the maiden visit of Major General R.K. Jha, AVSM (Retd.), Director (P) to Panyor Lower Hydro Power Station, NEEPCO on 21.11.2023. Director (P) lauded the contribution of Team PLHPS and also appreciated the rousing reception of Team PLHPS.

Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd), Director (Personnel) interacted with Shri S.K Roy, Dy. Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) Guwahati at his office at Guwahati on 20.11.2023. Director (Personnel) emphasized that employees welfare, resolution of genuine employee grievances and the interest of the Corporation stands as the highest priority for the organization's sustainability. Cementing this vision, endorsed for amicable understanding between the Management and Trade unions, Associations for the greater interest of the organization.

Major General Gagan Deep, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate, NER along with a team of NCC cadre paid a visit to KHPS on 07/11/23. The team had an overview of KHPS its operations and Khangdong Dam during the visit.

Shri Baidyanath Maharana, Director (F), Shri Ranendra Sarma, Director (T) and Maj Gen Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd), Director (P) of NEEPCO, along with the HR team, attended the meeting. The Committee complimented NEEPCO for its stellar performance and contribution to the North East Region.
