The Swachhata Hi Sewa(SHS) Campaign, 2023 aims at ensuring visibly higher order of cleanliness through Shramdaan (volunteerism) and Jan Bhagidari (community participation). Drawing inspiration from the clarion call for 'Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Saath’, the employees of all locations of NEEPCO participated enthusiastically in the nationwide cleanliness initiative and performed 1(one) hour of “Shramdaan” in and around the premises on 1st October 2023 at 10.00 am.

The Parliamentary Committee on Official Language under the chairmanship of Prof. Rita Bahuguna Joshi held an inspection meeting with NEEPCO in Agartala on 07.03.2022. During this, the committee observed the works of Official Language Hindi being done in the presence of senior officers of the Ministry and Department.

NEEPCO on 25th October 2022 inked Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Govt of Meghalaya for the development of 50 MW Wah Umiam Stage-I and 100 MW Wah Umiam Stage-II Hydro Electric Projects. The MoAs were signed by Shri D. D. Shira, Joint Secretary, Power Department, Meghalaya and Shri Anil Kumar, Director (Personnel) from NEEPCO side in august presence of the Hon’ble Dy. Chief Minister of Meghalaya Shri P. Tynsong, Shri Abdus Saleh, Chairman, Meghalaya State Planning Board, Shri Pravin Bakshi, Commissioner & Secretary (Power) and other Officers of Govt.

Glimpses of attending the "Review Meeting held under the Chairmanship of Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Hon'ble Chairperson, National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) on OBC reservation and welfare measures" on 10.11.2023 at Guwahati. During the meeting Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM (Retd), Director (P), NEEPCO asserted NEEPCO's commitment to protect and promote the welfare of our OBC employees and all our employees at large.
