As part of its steadfast commitment to community development, Girl Empower Mission (GEM) 2025, a flagship initiative under its Corporate Social Responsibility - Community Development (CSR-CD) Scheme was formally inaugurated on 14th July 2025 by the HoP at AGBPS, Bokuloni. 60 schoolgirls from neighbouring schools around the Plant have been selected to participate in the programme, marking another milestone in NEEPCO’s journey towards empowering young minds and nurturing future leaders.

Through this membership, NEEPCO strengthens its position in the global hydropower sector while contributing to India's renewable energy goals.
